Ferro ChromeThis Ferro Chrome is among the chromium ferroalloys straightforwardly made from chromite ores through carbothermic minimization in partial-merged arc furnace. The content of chromium varies from 34-42% as compared to 38-45% silicon and 0.005-0.06%. Besides, the blend order is same as smelting carbon ferrochromium except that our chrome needs a source for extra silicon. This product is made by smelting together quartz and chromite ore. Moreover, the less carbon content in our Ferro Chrome is a result of a reduced solubility of carbon because of the enhancement in silicon content. Because of the low carbon and lifted silicon contents, it is utilized as an intermediary item for the manufacturing of refined alloys and steel.
